Multistate Licensed Telehealth Physician

Job Summary

To support a growing telehealth initiative, the part-time Multistate Licensed Telehealth Physician will conduct structured intake consultations remotely, establishing medical necessity for care navigation services and collaborating with advocates and clinical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct telehealth-based E/M or Annual Wellness Visits to establish medical necessity and identify high-risk conditions
• Document findings accurately in the platform, ensuring proper coding and use of SDOH Z-codes
• Develop and approve individualized care plans in alignment with patients' medical treatment plans

Required qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
• Broad multistate licensure strongly required (IMLC participation or 50-state coverage preferred)
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics preferred
• 2+ years of experience in primary care, telehealth, or care management
• Familiarity with Medicare programs and proficiency with EMRs and telehealth workflows
