Music Adjunct Instructor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Music (Jazz Ensemble, Applied Brass, and/ or Applied Cello and Bass) Adjunct.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a learning environment that facilitates students' acquisition of knowledge and skills
• Deliver instruction aligned with course learning outcomes and provide timely feedback to students
• Hold office hours and engage with students outside of class to support their learning

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Music or related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Music
• Two years of related occupational experience
• Ability to teach in one or more areas: jazz ensemble, brass, and/or cello and bass
• Experience teaching at the college level is preferred
• Familiarity with learning management systems such as CANVAS
