Job Summary

A company is looking for a Social Freelancer, Music - Weeknights.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the voice of Complex Music across all social platforms with strong editorial judgment
• Create, curate, and publish timely social content for breaking music news and trending conversations
• Lead community management during coverage windows and escalate major moments to the Social Editor, Music

Required Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in social media, preferably music-focused
• Deep understanding of music culture, including hip-hop, R&B, and emerging artists
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, and/or CapCut
• Strong familiarity with major social platforms (Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok, Facebook)
• Ability to work weeknights and occasional holidays, especially around live events and breaking news
