Mutual Fund Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mutual Fund Accountant (REMOTE).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and records of mutual funds, producing end of day net asset value calculations
• Prepare daily general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and expense accrual/payment postings
• Collaborate with internal/external partners to ensure compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP principles

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
• One to two years of experience in accounting or finance activities
• Thorough knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis
• Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and analyze data
• Proficient in MS Office applications and other software packages
