MVA Billing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Specialist, First Party Auto, MVA (REMOTE).

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze Motor Vehicle Accident accounts to coordinate insurance benefits and resolve outstanding balances
• Research and submit hospital claims to insurance companies, ensuring prompt and correct reimbursement
• Follow up with payers to update claim systems and facilitate timely claim resolution

Requirements and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare billing or collections
• 1+ years of experience with MVA claim resolution preferred
• Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office applications
• Intermediate understanding of insurance payer/provider claims processing related to MVA and first party auto claims
