Job Summary

To support the Myasthenia Gravis community, a fully remote Myasthenia Gravis Columnist will write personal essays that inform and inspire readers, meeting weekly deadlines while collaborating with editors to enhance their writing skills in a contract position.

Key responsibilities

• Fulfill weekly column deadlines and communicate efficiently with managers and editors
• Submit 400-800 word drafts that comply with editorial guidelines and complete assigned training
• Make timely revisions as requested by editors

Required qualifications

• Must be a member of the Myasthenia Gravis community, preferably as a caregiver
• Prior experience writing for an audience
• At least three months of direct caregiving experience for someone with Myasthenia Gravis
• Ability to generate unique content regularly
• Native or fluent English writing and reading abilities
