MySQL Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a MySQL DBA.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design, implement, and maintain the database infrastructure
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across data platforms while responding to database-related alerts
• Deploy database objects across multiple environments and participate in the on-call rotation

Required Qualifications

• 5-10 years of IT operations experience with a strong understanding of database structures and practices
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with MySQL Server, Percona Server, and/or MariaDB
• 3+ years of experience managing databases on AWS RDS and/or Aurora for MySQL
• Proficiency in SQL Query Tuning and Slow Query Optimizations on MySQL systems
• Experience with MySQL replication on complex multi-source/replica topologies
