NAMSS Certified Enrollment Specialist

Job Summary

To support the enrollment process for government-funded payment programs, the full-time NAMSS Certified Enrollment Specialist will manage applications for Baptist Health Medical Group employed physicians and facilities, ensuring compliance and maintaining relationships with managed care payors in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Complete and maintain enrollment applications for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans
• Serve as the central point of contact for managed care insurance payor issues and maintain positive relationships
• Communicate with Medicare Administrative Contractors and ensure all documentation is compliant and up to date

Required qualifications:

• Associates degree required
• NAMSS Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist certification or equivalent experience
• At least 10 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with 5 years in a hospital business office
• Strong knowledge of billing and reimbursement regulations for government-funded programs
• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
