Job Summary

To enhance user engagement and satisfaction, the remote Narrative Designer (Contractor) will create compelling storylines by adapting books into interactive formats, collaborating across departments, and refining narratives based on performance data.

Key responsibilities

• Adapt stories for interactive formats by analyzing source material and reimagining it as engaging experiences
• Outline and structure narratives, creating beat sheets and chapter outlines for strong story arcs
• Write and edit chapters, ensuring distinctive voice, clean prose, and effective pacing

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in narrative design, creative writing, screenwriting, or a related field
• Strong writing and editing skills with a talent for developing engaging storylines
• Ability to incorporate feedback and iterate quickly
• Reliable time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort with collaboration and production tools
