National Account Director, Federal Accounts

Job Summary

Owning the relationship with federal accounts, the full-time National Account Director, Federal Accounts will establish contracting readiness, secure formulary access, and build account architecture for Summit's oncology portfolio, all while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain senior relationships with VA and DoD leadership to develop national formulary strategies and account plans
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs to address federal-specific evidence needs and maintain the federal account plan
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and conduct all activities in accordance with relevant laws and Summit's policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA, PharmD, or other advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 10+ years of biopharmaceutical commercial experience, with at least 5+ years in federal/government accounts
• Demonstrated ownership of an FSS contract and relationships within VA PBM Services or DHA pharmacy operations
• Track record of securing national formulary decisions within VA and/or the DoD Uniform Formulary
• Experience launching a specialty or oncology product into the federal channel
