National Certified Pharmacy Technician Supervisor

Job Summary

Overseeing a team of prior authorization technicians, the remote National Certified Pharmacy Technician Supervisor will manage staffing, workflow enhancements, and training while ensuring compliance and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervise prior authorization technicians and manage escalated issues from clients and providers
• Analyze data to provide recommendations for staffing and workflow improvements
• Train and coach utilization management pharmacy technicians while reviewing performance and addressing behavioral issues

Required qualifications:

• At least 1 year of Medicare experience, including prior authorization and appeals
• Active, unrestricted National Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and manage team priorities
