National Director of Market Development

Job Summary

Leading a national market development team, the full-time salaried National Director of Market Development will focus on engaging key thought leaders in Retina and Comprehensive Ophthalmology, developing strategies to enhance patient treatment, and ensuring collaboration across commercial teams, with the option for remote work from anywhere in the US.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategies to maximize the value of the market development team aligned with brand objectives
• Lead and cultivate a high-performance team culture, motivating members to achieve their best in supporting patient needs
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving GA treatment and expanding access

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a science or business-related discipline; MBA preferred
• 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries, including 3-5 years in leadership roles
• Direct experience with customers in Retina and established KOL relationships
• Experience in buy-and-bill launch processes preferred
• Strong leadership competencies with the ability to work cross-functionally
