National Director of Principal Gifts

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time salaried National Director of Principal Gifts, this remote position will manage a portfolio of ultra high net worth donors, securing transformational philanthropic investments while cultivating deep relationships and collaborating with executive leadership to advance the organization's mission.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a national portfolio of 25-40 ultra high net worth donors and lead them through the principal gift engagement cycle
• Integrate personal faith into donor relationships, demonstrating pastoral care and spiritual leadership
• Collaborate with senior leaders to develop cultivation and solicitation strategies for top tier partners

Required qualifications

• Mature and personal Christian faith, aligned with the mission and values of the organization
• Bachelor's degree required
• 7-10+ years of progressively responsible fundraising experience with a proven track record of securing $1M+ gifts
• Experience engaging ultra high net worth individuals and partnering with senior executives and boards
• Proficiency with fundraising systems and tools, such as Raiser's Edge NXT
