National Environmental Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a National Environmental Specialist to support sustainable urban development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Review environmental policies and recommend improvements for the Green Cities Initiative
• Conduct environmental and social impact assessments for organic waste management and green space establishment
• Build the capacity of local staff and community groups in environmental management and climate resilience

Required Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or related field
• 5 years of relevant experience in environmental management or urban sustainability
• Working knowledge of English (C level)
• National of Lesotho or resident with a valid work permit
