Job Summary
Investigating and adjusting complex nationwide commercial property claims, the full-time National General Property Adjuster will work remotely from designated states, mentoring staff and overseeing expert involvement to drive high-value settlements.
Key responsibilities
- Adjudicate first party commercial property claims of significant size and complexity
- Inspect, investigate, and adjust losses while supervising expert involvement and reviewing coverage
- Consult with property claim personnel on qualifications of independent adjusters and evaluate vendor performance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 10 years of related work experience in first party commercial property field adjusting
- Proficiency in Xactimate is highly preferred
- In-depth knowledge of on-site claim investigating and negotiating policies and procedures
- Ability to analyze and interpret insurance policies and contracts
