National Payer Accounts Director
Job Summary
Leading strategic engagement with national and regional payer accounts, the remote National Payer Accounts Director will develop and execute account strategies, support launch-readiness planning, and monitor payer policies to optimize access for Ocular Therapeutix's ophthalmology portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute account strategies for national and regional commercial payers
- Engage payer stakeholders across medical, pharmacy, policy, reimbursement, and contracting functions
- Translate payer insights into practical recommendations for internal planning and executive decision-making
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of relevant experience in biopharmaceutical, market access, or payer account management
- Experience calling on national and regional payer accounts, including commercial plans and PBMs
- Strong understanding of medical benefit and pharmacy benefit access, reimbursement, and coding
- Experience in ophthalmology, specialty pharmacy, or provider-administered products preferred
