Job Summary
To support critical national security initiatives, the contract National Security Policy Specialist will work remotely, committing 25-35 hours per week through December 2026, focusing on coalition strengthening, policy analysis, and project management related to the U.S. military and intelligence agencies.
Key responsibilities
- Support the National Security team in coalition building and policy development
- Monitor and analyze policy and legal trends, conducting research for internal use
- Draft communications and research products while providing project management support to advocacy and legal initiatives
Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in policy, organizing, or research related to U.S. national security
- Solid understanding of the politicization and improper use of U.S. military and national security agencies
- Ability to build trusting relationships with internal and external partners
- High degree of autonomy in managing projects from conception to execution
- Commitment to a cross-ideological and nonpartisan approach to democracy protection
