Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote ASL Interpreter.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, culturally appropriate interpretation between client and deaf consumer via video
• Adhere to the NCIHC's interpreter code of ethics and national standards of practice
• Maintain a professional demeanor and tone during all interpreting encounters

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of professional interpreting experience
• Medical interpreting experience required
• National Interpreter Certification (NIC) from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID)
• Fluency in American Sign Language and English
