Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support Eastern Time Zone operations, the remote Patient Outreach Specialist Pharmacy Technician will proactively grow the specialty pharmacy patient population by making outbound calls to eligible patients, educating them on services, and ensuring confidentiality while working flexible 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM and 7:30 PM ET.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to educate patients about the Shields Partner Pharmacy program and enroll them
• Review patients' EMRs prior to calls to ensure familiarity with their conditions and needs
• Identify necessary medications and supplies requiring special handling or storage

Required qualifications

• Active national pharmacy technician certification (PTCB or NHA/ExCPT) required
• At least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or related field
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to obtain any necessary licensure within a mutually agreed timeframe
