Natural Gas Risk Manager

Job Summary

To support the growth of a natural gas portfolio, the full-time remote Natural Gas Risk Manager will manage risk analytics, develop valuation tools, and deliver transparent reporting while collaborating with various teams across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical analysis and quantification of market risks across natural gas positions
• Design and maintain risk analytics tools using Python, SQL, and Google Cloud Platform
• Produce risk reports and analyses for executive leadership and key stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
• 5+ years of experience in Southwest natural gas markets
• Strong expertise in Python and SQL for analytics and application development
• Experience in developing risk analytics and valuation models
• Deep knowledge of natural gas market fundamentals and trading dynamics
