Navigation Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Navigation Engineer to join the Guidance, Navigation and Control (GN&C) team, this full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work within the United States and focuses on developing advanced autonomy algorithms for aerospace systems to enhance the drone delivery service.

Key responsibilities:

• Create and own innovative Guidance, Navigation, and Control solutions for autonomous aircraft
• Analyze GNSS sensor data and integrate various sensor modalities into broader autonomous systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop filtering solutions and perform risk assessments on algorithm designs

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in Guidance, Navigation, and Control for aerospace systems
• MS degree, PhD, or equivalent practical experience in Aerospace, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with multi-sensor fusion navigation systems, including GNSS/INS integration
• Proficiency in writing embedded safety-critical software in C++, MATLAB, and/or Python
• Expertise in Kalman Filtering and other estimation methods
