Job Summary

To support adults in a virtual group coaching program focused on weight management, the part-time contract NBHWC-Certified Health Coach will provide group coaching sessions that promote sustainable lifestyle habits, utilizing motivational interviewing and coaching techniques while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide health and wellness group coaching to promote positive lifestyle habits in a virtual setting
• Support members in developing self-directed strategies for sustainable behavior change
• Utilize coaching theories and techniques to assist members in achieving their goals

Required qualifications

• Active board certification in Health and Wellness Coaching (e.g., NBHWC or equivalent)
• At least 3 years of experience facilitating live virtual group coaching sessions for adults
• Strong knowledge of behavior change principles and motivational interviewing
• Ability to work within a defined scope of practice and follow established protocols
• Reliable access to a private, confidential space for leading live sessions
