NC Licensed I/DD Reviewer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an I/DD Utilization Management Reviewer (QP) to facilitate the review of service plans and authorization requests remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Review service plans and authorization requests for completeness and compliance with benefit plans
• Approve requests based on an auto-approval algorithm and refer incomplete requests for further review
• Provide onboarding, training, and mentoring to new staff as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field
• Two years of post-degree experience in I/DD services
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental illness and developmental disabilities
• Familiarity with the 1915 (b) (c) waiver and evidence-based practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
