Job Summary
Owning the NCAA eligibility process for high school student-athletes, the remote NCAA Eligibility Advisor will manage student registrations, track academic progress, and advise families on eligibility requirements while collaborating with academic and athletic teams.
Key responsibilities
- Own NCAA eligibility by registering students, tracking Core Course progress, and ensuring transcript alignment with NCAA requirements
- Audit transcripts proactively to identify gaps and work with the academic team to address them before they become issues
- Communicate regularly with families about eligibility status, transcript progress, and necessary next steps
Required qualifications
- Three to five years of NCAA eligibility experience in compliance, academic advising, or related roles
- Deep understanding of NCAA eligibility requirements, including Core Course and GPA rules
- Proficient in evaluating high school transcripts against NCAA standards
- Experience in advising high school families on eligibility matters
- Working knowledge of the college recruiting process and its impact on eligibility
