NDE Evaluation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an NDE Evaluation Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews and interprets ultrasonic inspection results and designs reference standards for inspections
• Develops NDT inspection plans, qualifies NDT inspection equipment, and assists with certification of NDE equipment
• Compiles reports documenting evaluations, results, and new procedures while maintaining compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
• 3+ years of experience in Nondestructive Evaluation
• ASNT Level 2 or 3 certifications in relevant NDT methods preferred
• Functional knowledge of instruments and systems used for various NDT methods
• Experience working in an engineering or scientific lab environment
