Nebraska Licensed Assistant Actuary

Job Summary

To support the growth and financial soundness of the organization, the hybrid or remote Nebraska Licensed Assistant Actuary will assist in actuarial functions, providing analysis and creating models for various insurance products.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in pricing, product development, and financial projections while supporting valuation and financial reporting
• Engage in training of associates and participate in cross-functional project teams or committees
• Ensure compliance with illustration systems and manage inforce products and reinsurance activities

Required qualifications

• ASA designation with a BS degree or higher and four years of actuarial experience
• Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, and financial modeling software
• Technical writing skills and effective verbal communication abilities
• Flexibility in work hours to meet deadlines and business requirements
• Proven problem-solving skills and a commitment to providing exemplary customer service
