Job Summary
Investigating and resolving property damage and bodily injury claims, the full-time Nebraska Licensed Claims Examiner will evaluate claims, analyze coverage, and negotiate settlements while working remotely or onsite in Omaha, NE.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations of assigned claims, including gathering necessary information and coordinating with independent adjusters
- Analyze coverage rights and obligations under insurance contracts and collaborate with the Legal Department on compliance issues
- Establish and modify case reserves, negotiate claim settlements, and maintain accurate documentation of all communications and claims processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Three or more years of related work experience in claims examination
- Knowledge of insurance contracts and claim procedures
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications
- Experience with loss evaluation methods and claim resolution alternatives
