Nebraska Licensed Home Infusion Nurse

Job Summary

Nebraska Licensed Home Infusion Nurse is sought for a part-time, per diem position responsible for providing specialized nursing care, administering intravenous medications, and educating patients and families in a home setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial nursing assessments and develop care plans for home infusion therapy
• Train patients and caregivers on procedures and equipment, while providing direct care and documentation
• Coordinate care with other agencies and manage patient supplies, including on-call duties

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Must be a Registered Nurse in Nebraska with a valid driver's license and automobile insurance
• Professional Liability Insurance and CPR Certification are required
• At least 2 years of experience as a home infusion nurse or equivalent field-based nursing experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in IV insertion and knowledge of various vascular access devices
• Specific training or certification as a heart failure nurse and experience with IV therapies is preferred
