Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder Risk Adjustment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct retrospective medical record reviews and validate diagnosis codes
• Determine the need for additional documentation and ensure compliance with CMS requirements
• Collaborate with multiple departments to support risk adjustment efforts

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current CPC or AHIMA CCS credential is required
• CRC Certification training to begin within 6 months post hire
• 2+ years of recent experience in medical record review, diagnosis coding, and/or auditing
• An associate degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
