Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Medicare & Medicaid Eligibility Specialist (Advocate).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct compassionate conversations with members regarding Medicaid and Medicare benefits
• Determine eligibility for benefits through simple questions and explain regulations in an understandable manner
• Gather and verify personal and financial details for accurate enrollment and recertification

Required Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in healthcare, eligibility screening, case management, or high-touch customer service
• Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, SCHIP, or Special Needs Plans (SNP) is a plus
• Proficiency in navigating multiple software systems and databases
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
• Strong critical thinking skills for managing difficult conversations
