Job Summary

A company is looking for a Consultant, Nurse Disability I.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and interpret medical information for disability claims
• Act as a clinical resource for claims professionals and provide guidance on medical management
• Coordinate with vocational rehabilitation coordinators to support return-to-work services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse License in the state of employment
• 3-5 years of nursing experience, preferably in Emergency Room, Critical Care, Orthopedics, or similar fields
• Previous insurance industry experience is preferred
• Knowledge of Disability Management, Workers Compensation, or nurse case management is preferred
