Nebraska Licensed Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To provide essential clinical care, a Nebraska Licensed Nurse Practitioner will work remotely as a contract provider, conducting psychiatric evaluations and medication management through live video appointments while focusing on evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents.

Key responsibilities:

• Practice comprehensive mental health medication management via intake and follow-up appointments
• Conduct mental health risk assessments and psychiatric medication evaluations
• Construct patient-centered treatment plans and prescribe/manage psychiatric medications

Required qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program or an accredited PA program with relevant certification
• Unrestricted state license in Nebraska
• A minimum of 2 years in practice
• Active DEA license preferred for NPs and PA-Cs
• Experience with minors is preferred
