Job Summary

Facilitating telephonic and computer communication for patient care, the full-time Nebraska Licensed Virtual RN will manage discharge documentation, coordinate follow-up appointments, and provide virtual patient education after completing two weeks of in-person training, while working remotely within the Omaha Metro - Council Bluffs area.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inbound and outbound calls to patients, pharmacies, and healthcare entities for discharge instructions and medication reviews
• Update electronic health records (EHR) and ensure accurate patient documentation
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and management of conditions based on practice guidelines

Required qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Nebraska
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
