Nepali to English Translator

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, a Nepali to English Translator and/or Editor will translate and edit documents, ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate content for clients in the language services industry.

Key responsibilities

• Translate various documents from Nepali to English while maintaining the original meaning and context
• Edit translated materials for accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance
• Collaborate with clients to understand specific requirements and deliver high-quality translations

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in translation and editing, specifically between Nepali and English
• Proficiency in both Nepali and English, with a strong understanding of cultural nuances
• Experience with translation tools and software is preferred
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• A relevant degree or certification in translation, linguistics, or a related field is a plus
