NERC CIP Virtualization Consultant

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time NERC CIP Virtualization Consultant to work remotely, who will develop, update, and socialize policies and procedures ensuring compliance with NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection standards for virtualized Bulk Electric System Cyber Systems in the energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Review and update existing NERC CIP policies and procedures to align with virtualization requirements
• Develop documentation for BES Cyber Systems throughout all project phases, including design and delivery
• Conduct awareness sessions to enhance organizational understanding of CIP virtualization changes

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with NERC CIP standards in the energy or utilities sector
• Demonstrated experience with virtualization technologies applicable to OT/ICS environments
• Experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity policies in a regulated utility context
• Familiarity with NERC Project 2016-02 and its regulatory implications
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required
