NERC Compliance Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of NERC Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the organization's NERC compliance program, setting annual objectives and maintaining the compliance risk register
• Drive audit readiness by coordinating evidence collection, quality reviews, and responses for audits and self-certifications
• Conduct compliance gap analyses, oversee root cause investigations, and manage corrective action plans through closure

Required Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of experience in energy compliance, operations, or cybersecurity with direct ownership of NERC Operations & Planning compliance
• Experience building and managing an enterprise NERC compliance program, including policies, controls, and reporting
• Strong audit leadership experience with skills in gap analysis and corrective action planning
• Experience serving as the primary liaison with NERC, FERC, and Regional Entities
• Strong executive communication skills to brief leadership and guide operational teams
