NERC Compliance Standards Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a NERC Compliance O&P Standard Specialist to support compliance efforts in the Transmission function and renewable energy portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Compliance Business Partner for AES Operations & Planning (O&P) Compliance
• Serve as the technical authority within the O&P group, ensuring timely implementation of NERC Reliability Standards Requirements
• Assist with audit preparations, self-certifications, and compliance reviews while monitoring Standards drafting teams

Required Qualifications

• Four-year bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
• Prior NERC O&P and utilities compliance experience
• Experience with Protection Systems, SCADA Systems, and Transmission Planning
• Highly motivated, self-starter willing to take on new challenges
