Network Administrator with Security+ Certification

Job Summary

Supporting a critical Air Force network system, the full-time Network Administrator with Security+ Certification will manage system administration, troubleshoot network issues, and ensure security compliance while working onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administration for IBM I OS V7R5/S914 systems, including end user support and database management
• Analyze and resolve connectivity issues for production and development servers, monitoring server activity and performance
• Maintain server security posture and documentation in accordance with AFMC requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience
• U.S. citizenship and active DoD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one
• Active Security+ certification
• Proficiency in IBM i V7R5 Operating System and related software applications
• Experience with IBM S914 POWER server architecture and related hardware management consoles
