Network Automation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Automation Engineer to support a long-term Federal network modernization program.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks for network device automation
• Create reusable automation frameworks for multi-vendor environments
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code best practices for deployments and compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of Cisco networking experience, with at least 3 years in a network automation role
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network configurations
• Proficiency with Ansible, YAML, Jinja2, and Git
• Experience with CI/CD platforms and Python scripting for automation
