Network Automation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Automation Engineer to enhance network infrastructure through automation in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement network automation solutions using tools like Ansible and Python
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles for managing and provisioning network devices and services
• Develop and maintain an automation framework, including testing, validation, and deployment processes

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 1 year in network automation
• Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network devices (routers, switches)
• Scripting skills in Python and familiarity with other languages like Bash or PowerShell
• Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Puppet) and network monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix)
• Ability to obtain USCIS Public Trust clearance
