Network Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Network Automation Engineer (Python + Network APIs) for a full-time remote position, responsible for designing and developing automation solutions, building integration pipelines, and mentoring junior engineers in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop network automation solutions in Python using tools like Netmiko, Nornir, and NAPALM
• Build automation pipelines for configuration management and deployment across multi-vendor environments
• Implement network testing and validation using tools such as pyATS, Genie, and Batfish

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related field
• Five or more years of network automation experience
• Strong Python development skills including OOP, testing, and packaging
• Deep networking fundamentals including routing, switching, and BGP
• Hands-on experience with modern network APIs (NETCONF, RESTCONF, gNMI)
