Network Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Network Automation Engineer will utilize Python and Ansible to automate network configurations and management, ensuring robust networking fundamentals across multi-vendor environments.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement automation scripts using Python and Ansible to enhance network operations
• Collaborate with clients to understand their networking needs and provide solutions using Infrastructure as Code practices
• Integrate automation workflows with CI/CD pipelines and manage network data through tools like Nautobot

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in network automation and engineering
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including routing and switching
• Proficiency in Python and Ansible, with familiarity in Infrastructure as Code tools
• Experience with REST APIs, Git, and YAML/JSON
• Background in consulting or professional services environments
