Network Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Network Automation Engineer with strong Python development skills and deep networking expertise to automate network configuration and change management in a full-time remote position, focusing on building production-grade automation using modern network APIs and CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop network automation solutions in Python utilizing tools like Netmiko and Nornir
• Build automation pipelines for configuration management and deployment across multi-vendor environments
• Develop integrations with network APIs including NETCONF and RESTCONF, and implement infrastructure-as-code using Ansible and Terraform

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related field
• Five or more years of network automation experience
• Strong Python development skills, including OOP and testing
• Deep understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing and switching
• Hands-on experience with modern network APIs and automation tools such as Ansible and Jinja2
