Job Summary
Seeking a skilled Network Detection Engineer to support a Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation program for the Department of Homeland Security, working remotely while based in Fairfax, VA, focusing on the implementation and administration of Corelight services to enhance network monitoring capabilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team to develop next-generation security solutions for endpoint data management
- Act as a technical authority in cybersecurity, driving innovation and expanding existing capabilities
- Design and scope complex security architectures for large-scale networks while coordinating with customer delivery managers
Required qualifications:
- Secret clearance required and ability to obtain DHS/CISA EOD Clearance
- Bachelor's degree with 3-8 years of experience, or 4+ years of experience in lieu of a formal degree
- Hands-on experience with Corelight and network detection and response (NDR) tools
- Proficient in managing and configuring policies of network monitoring tools
- Knowledge of networking, firewalls, and cloud environments
