Job Summary
To support a carrier-grade network-as-a-service platform, the full-time Network Development Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automation tools and configuration systems for network devices, working remotely to ensure accurate and reliable service provisioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain configuration generation systems for network devices, ensuring accurate device configurations
- Develop provisioning playbooks and automation workflows, translating service designs into reusable configuration templates
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate network designs and support production network issues through automation expertise
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in carrier-grade network engineering with a focus on automation and service provisioning
- Hands-on experience with Juniper, Cisco, or Nokia platforms and proficiency in Python for network automation
- Familiarity with model-driven configuration interfaces such as NETCONF/YANG and RESTCONF
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Salt in a network context
- Deep production experience with BGP, MPLS, and Layer 2 services
