Network Engineer

Job Summary

To support client network environments, the full-time remote Network Engineer will manage advanced networking configurations, troubleshoot issues involving firewalls, switches, and VPNs, and maintain client networking infrastructure while providing exceptional customer-focused assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, including firewalls, switches, and VPN configurations
• Support and maintain firewall environments, including rule changes and security reviews
• Create and maintain accurate network documentation, including topology diagrams and device inventories

Required qualifications

• Experience working in a managed services provider (MSP) or multi-client environment
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools such as Auvik or Meraki Dashboard
• Technical certifications such as Network+, CCNA, or similar network-focused credentials
• Experience supporting vendors like Cisco, Fortinet, or Palo Alto
• Ability to perform network assessments and documentation standards
