Network Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a mid-level Network Engineer for a remote contract position, the successful candidate will design, implement, and support enterprise network operations, focusing on routing, switching, and network security with 5-7 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine user requirements and develop network design specifications
• Design, implement, and support network infrastructure, including upgrades and enhancements
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring optimal uptime and reliability

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in network engineering (Level 3 preferred)
• Strong routing and switching experience in an enterprise environment
• Experience with network security engineering concepts and tools
• Knowledge of Cisco, Extreme Networks, Palo Alto, and Fortinet firewalls
• Familiarity with wireless networking technologies, preferably Aruba solutions
