Network Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled mid-level Network Engineer, the contract position offers remote work and requires 5-7 years of experience in routing, switching, and network security, focusing on designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network operations.

Key responsibilities

• Determine user requirements and develop network design specifications
• Design, implement, and support network infrastructure, including upgrades and enhancements
• Configure and manage network routing and switching environments

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in network engineering, preferably at Level 3
• Strong expertise in routing and switching within an enterprise environment
• Experience with network security engineering concepts and tools
• Familiarity with Cisco, Extreme Networks, Palo Alto, Fortinet firewalls, and Aruba wireless solutions
• Knowledge of wireless networking is a plus
