Network Engineer

Job Summary

Responsible for engineering and designing telecommunications solutions, the full-time Network Engineer will work remotely to manage network installation projects, develop capital budgets, and provide tier III technical support to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer and design public and private telecommunications networks while managing installation projects and developing operating procedures
• Assist in the development of capital budgets and provide budgetary details related to customer forecasts and network upgrades
• Interface with sales and customer service to manage order processes and ensure timely completion of projects

Required qualifications

• MA or MS degree highly desirable, or equivalent telecommunications experience
• One to three (1-3) years of applicable experience in telecommunications network circuit design
• Significant knowledge of telecom products and fiber optic networks
• Thorough understanding of fiber optic network electronics and associated systems
• PC skills required for daily work activities
