Network Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Trading Infrastructure team, the remote Network Engineer will design, build, and operate network connectivity for trading systems, focusing on low-latency environments while collaborating with vendors and engineers on troubleshooting and performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate network connectivity for trading infrastructure across colocation sites
• Investigate and resolve complex network issues affecting latency and reliability
• Support timing-sensitive networking and contribute to operational readiness through documentation and incident reviews

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting production networks, including Linux and NGFW
• Solid understanding of routing and switching fundamentals (BGP, OSPF, VLANs)
• Ability to collaborate across domains, including systems and hardware
• Experience with automation and scripting (Python/Bash is a plus)
• Familiarity with low-latency or performance-sensitive environments is preferred
